But is it Art?

Once More With Feelings

Thanks to everyone who came to the Queerzone3000 launch in Birmingham last week. It was joyfully chaotic and wonderful way to celebrate the launch of the project. We can't wait to see what the future holds for the organisation and what joyous collaborations it will instigate.

We are pleased to announce that Boy With Wings will be performing at Once More with Feeling(s) at Lewisham Arthouse. The event will take place on Friday 23rd October 2015, 6pm till 10pm. Due to the nature of the event, our performance will be quite short but it looks set to be an amazing night of art and music.

Queers In The Loop

Our sister (not cis-ter) venture Queerzone3000 will be having a launch party on Sunday 11th October as part of Fierce Festival 2015.

The event will take place at BOM (Birmingham Open Media) from 22:30-2:00 and will feature a plethora of performances and discussions, accompanied as ever by hot disco/screeching divas/80s club rhythms from Boy With Wings DJ’s. The event will also see the return of Liverpool’s shining star, now exclusively known as Just Kevin.

Transient Bliss

Nottingham Cave

Massive thanks to everyone who came to the performance at Rough Trade Nottingham last night. It was amazing. We danced all night. We will definitely be visiting the Shady Cow crew again. What they're doing for Nottingham is incredible and we wish them the best of luck in all their future endeavours.

In the past few months we got a fair bit of media attention, here are the highlights!

In July, we were interviewed for the amazing Polyester Zine, which recently featured on Dazed Digital. Have a read here, pix by our BFF Meg Lavender:

Polyester also invited Leo to chair their Activism Panel at their First Birthday Party, which happened at The Glory last weekend. Leo talked about our new project Queerzone3000, a non-profit organisation committed to the furthering of arts, education and technology within the global LGBTQIA community.

Leo discussed the effects of austerity politics upon climate change and abortion, LGBT and sex workers’ rights with Rashida Islam from Abortion Rights UK, Lizzie Farrell aka Glacier Girl, Niamh Mcintyre of Cuntry Living and our good friend and fan Nicola Field (Lesbians And Gays Support The Miners).

Secondly, Sean got interviewed for Time Out magazine, it was out last week!! No biggie. He's finally approaching celebrity. Read the full interview here:

And last but not least, our new single “Delta Of Venus” was played on Haggerston Radio! You can hear the whole show here:
