Massive thanks to everyone who came to the performance at Rough Trade Nottingham last night. It was amazing. We danced all night. We will definitely be visiting the Shady Cow crew again. What they're doing for Nottingham is incredible and we wish them the best of luck in all their future endeavours.
In the past few months we got a fair bit of media attention, here are the highlights!
In July, we were interviewed for the amazing Polyester Zine, which recently featured on Dazed Digital. Have a read here, pix by our BFF Meg Lavender: http://www.polyesterzine.com/features/polyester-boy-with-wings
Polyester also invited Leo to chair their Activism Panel at their First Birthday Party, which happened at The Glory last weekend. Leo talked about our new project Queerzone3000, a non-profit organisation committed to the furthering of arts, education and technology within the global LGBTQIA community.
Leo discussed the effects of austerity politics upon climate change and abortion, LGBT and sex workers’ rights with Rashida Islam from Abortion Rights UK, Lizzie Farrell aka Glacier Girl, Niamh Mcintyre of Cuntry Living and our good friend and fan Nicola Field (Lesbians And Gays Support The Miners).
Secondly, Sean got interviewed for Time Out magazine, it was out last week!! No biggie. He's finally approaching celebrity. Read the full interview here:
